II recieved only one days notice for this. I need to focus on how the company would benefit from moving someone with my skills to the other department. I have never written such a request. I need help...anyone who has a sample if you could please email it to me. At least something to start with or a web site. Everyone i tried charges a fee and i need this out tomorrow. Best Answer points to the one that helps the most.

I would write a letter as if I were applyinmg for a job. Include all of your qualifications. These are available online or on most word processors (like Word) Online sample letters may be found at:

Wow! Talk about cutting it short. How many hours do you have before you have to turn it in?

Honestly, I've never been in your position, but I've helped my husband with his employment and resumes, etc. This is what I suggest...

Basically, write a letter of recommendation for yourself. It's going to be a bit weird, and you may feel like you're bragging, but they want to know that you are confident enough to handle the job. I'll see if I can find a good example or tips and add them if I can find them...
