Can someone who does not have cingular wireless phone service text message someone who does from the internet?

you can use your email program to do this.
use their 10 digit phone number @mobile.mycingular.com, so if their phone number is 555-555-5555 you would use 5555555555@mobile.mycingular.com as an email address to text, you may even be able to text them from yahoo messenger
