Every day I search all over the internet to find new news about the X-Files 2 movie. Does anyone have someting new to tell me? Sources must be credible

Does anyone have good and recent news regarding the supposed new X-Files movie? As an avid fan and shipper from way back, I find it tiresome searching the media everyday for recent news regarding the movie. DD has been talking this project up since 2000, and nothing has happened.
Here is what I know, If you know something different please tell. 1. Not mythology based.
2. Everyone is willing to do it.
3. Legal disputes; Fox and CC
4. Spotnitz reported that he has a story written, just not an actual script. Love to hear if you guys can tell me someting. Thanks.

No SpookyMulder, I searched too and I haven't found any definitive answers.
A lot of things have to coalesce in order for this to happen. They have to get investors to fund the movie, get a good script, sign on the actors, but will probably only do it if they know they can make money off of it. There is a definitely a fan base who will go and see it, and perhaps some new fans will too so I think it could happen. I think the first movie was a respectable success so it's not far fetched that they would make another, especially since all the fans have a Trekkie-like passion for it and really want it to happen. Keep hope alive.

No im the same as you I keep looking and no luck they really need to make it tho but my initial excitement is way over for this movie.

as far as I keep in innovations listening to the call has no longer yet be released yet. they are nonetheless uncertain because the author needs to call it one component yet Fox needs to call it some thing thoroughly diverse.
