Is it not a better plan to find out just Why Your boyfriend is having difficulty getting to sleep? What is He worrying about? How is His health? How is Your relationship going? How is Your sex life? Ask a few questions, then start to worry.

Warm milk, if he can't tolerate it warm just try a nice big glass of milk. A glass of wine might help too, and red wine doubles as it's good for your heart also. A warm shower before bed helps me sometimes. Or he could try reading right before going to sleep.
These things have all helped me before when I had trouble falling asleep. Hope they help.
