Ugh, something seems to be wrong with the wording of this question, but whatever...

yes, when one thinks your building a friendship
you realize your friendship is just another face
on the totem pole, kindness doesn't seem to
matter, only how much you drink draws their
attention, when you do not drink it creates an
enigma against you and you are left with being
cast aside with a word or two every now and then,
when you take the time to send paragraphs only
to be given a few words of daily nothing compared
to the words which are given to the other faces
of drinkers and hangover clowns,
you give endearing gestures sharing what's
in your heart because your feelings want to be apart
of their life,
yet what you get is nothing more than small talk
that you can find at the grocery store ~ therefore
you chisel out your face from the totem leaving
behind something that wasn't a true friendship ~
It seems my main fault is taking someone at their
word......... not a wise move to encompass within
ones heart because the word of most people mean
nothing but breathing out air with sound to appease
ones mind........ unless your holding a can of beer ~
