I am a sophmore in highschool. I recently got two Fs, a D, two A's, and a B plus in all honors classes. Will those grades really effect my chances of gettting into college?

It really depends on what college you want to go to. If you get your grades way up you might still be out of the running for the most exclusive colleges, but could be accepted at some other schools. Try to pick a school that suits you academically, has a good location, has interesting events on campus, and has a student body that you would like to be a part of. Good luck.

You'll have plenty of trouble getting OUT of high school. But if you ever do, most Community Colleges accept anyone, although you'll have to pass some aptitude tests and may have to take remedial classes before you can take courses that could be applied toward a degree.

Ace Librarian is right.

With the exception of some public Universities, most schools look at a combination of:

GPA
SAT or other test scores
Entrance test or Essay/etc.

So you are really hurting in at least one of three possible areas looked at by a University. I don't mean to discourage you, but rather encourage you to try harder, take summer classes and/or reinforce you knowledge in deficient areas by taking classes at a local (community) college if you can't get in at first.

Very likely. Sounds like you're averaging about a C. You'll need to get your grades up.
