I think the most underrated all-star would be Kevin Garnet.
Sure, he won MVP a few years ago, but since then everyone is not knowing KG for the great force he is.
He can block, shoot FT, three points when he has to, and we all know two points are easy for him.
He leads the league in rebounds/game!
If he had just a tinttsy big more talent on his team, they would be rockin'.

Definately Gilbert Arenes, he almost didn't make the All Star game and this is a magical year for him, putting up huge numbers and make ridiculous shots. I definately have to disagree with the Marion and Garnet answers...those guys, especially Garnet, are well known as 2 of the very best in the league at their positions, and rightfully so.
Garnet is a lock-in for hall of fame, and Marion will be too if the Suns win it all sometime in the coming years.

KG is definitely the underrated all-star dude...
He plays great defense, rebounds, scores, blocks, passes, steals and is never actually spoken in terms of MVP
If Garnet was in a team in league with the record of the Suns then he would definetly be MVP...
YEAH!!! T-WOLVES BEAT SUNS TODAY!!!

Shawn Marion of the Suns! He can do pretty much everything, and really well! He can score, block shots, shoot from the outside, he plays defense, shoots a great percentage, he gets ALOT of rebounds, esp. for someone his size. He's already had a game or two with 20+ rebounds!
Even with all of that, no one ever talks about him. It's always about Nash and Stoudamire! Don't get me wrong, they deserve the accolades, but I never hear anyone give Marion his props! He's real good!

Definitely Chris Bosh. He doesn't get much recognition because he's such a shy, quiet guy. But there's a saying that goes: It's always the quiet ones. They sit in the back, they never ask questions, but when the test comes, they have all the answers."

its without a doubt shawn marion. when you think underrated you think a person who doesnt get enough talk, the person you wouldnt think of right away and thats marion. he does EVRYTHING but assts. he shoots a good % from the floor and ft. he can hit 3s, he scores, he rebounds, and blocks shots. when you think minnesota you think KG. when you think wizards you think arenas. when you think phoenix you think nash or stoudamire not marion. and thats why hes underrated. nobody talks about him as much as the other guys like arenas, kg, and nash. thats why shawn is underappreciated. he does everything well but doesnt get the proper recognition.
