Generally Windows XP SP2 firewall is not that much great. It does not protect contents from Internet but it does when u connect your system in a LAN network(useless). You have to configure the firewall to accept another computer in the LAN to send/receive data in the 'exceptions' list.

Yes, they upgraded it, in April of 2006. It works great now, I do not have any problems with it. They upgraded when they came out with windows live one care..I have windows live one care on my computer, and you can use it on 3 computers..click it>>
