I don't know what you mean by "story" sites. But try this, if you use internet explorer. Go to Tools, Internet Options, Then Delete Cookies and Delete Files. And also click the Clear History Button.

To completely erase all your previous browsing details you need to perform three things(for Internet explorer).

1. Goto Tools > Internet Options. In the General tab under 'Browsing history' category click delete and confirm it by clicking yes in the confirmation dialog box.

2. In the same General tab, click Delete Cookies under Temporary Internet Files, and then click OK.

3.(In Windows XP) Goto c:\documents and settings\user name\local settings\Temporary internet files. Delete all the files in this folder. The files in this folder keeps track track of all your browsing and stores a copy of the pages you have visited.

Thats all. Now no one can see your browsing history.

I agree with the person above about CCleaner, I click on allot of things in yahoo image search and often get viruses in my temp Internet files, so I use that to get rid of the ones my anti virus can't touch. There is more to it than just clearing history and temp internet files, there are DAT files that can only be cleared with something like CCleaner.
