guns and roses i have heard rumors that they are getting back togather with all the old band members?

And ever since the late 90's so have others heard this rumor from time to time. And from time to time, various folks have comprised GnR and toured various cities performing all our old favorites, and some "original" stuff too. However, the original members of the group, have never managed to get along long enough to actually get back together and tour. I haven't heard any rumblings of this recently, but boy would I love it were it true!

It has been confirmed about Van Halen - I saw it on TMZ today - and it appears as official as it possibly could be - so keep your ears opened for a venue near you if your lucky!

Well, actually no. There is a band playing that is supposed to be realeasing a new CD ('Chinese Democracy'), that calls itself Guns N' Roses, only it's just Axl with a bunch of other guys (none of the original formation), they keep the same name since Axl bought the rights of the band, but, in my opinion, they can't really be compared to the old Guns N' Roses we all know and love, not without Slash, Izzy and Duff (Slash and Duff are actually members of Velvet Revolver who have quite a few shows booked for the following months).

Unfortunately GnR will not be getting back together. The studios are still awaiting the release of the album that they pumped over 20 million into (was meant to be released several times to date, namely: 1996, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006, February 2007, but the album still isn't finished). Apparently no one will work with Axl, from Band members, sound producers, technicians etc. They have started working with him, then quit or been fired by him.

More than likely not, though you'll hear this at least a few times a year. Axel recently had a bit of a tiff with the other guys, who haven't really spoken much to him in the past few years. Slash is actually in another band at the moment named Velvet Revolver. They had a few singles come out, and actually got some MTV air time. As for the other guys, I think they are/were involved in a lawsuit for something or other against the Axel. So to make a long story short...probably not. Sorry

The original members won't be together again because Slash Duff and Matt are now in Velvet Revolver with Scott Weiland and Gilby Clarke is now in {Rockstar} SuperNova with Tommy Lee, Jason Newsted and contest winner Lukas Rossi. But Axl Rose is supposedly back with a new lineup and i heard they're supposed be touring with Axl's longtime friend Sebastian Bach. Hopefully, this won't be like his last comeback in 2002,though; which led to just a performance on the VMAs, cancelled tour dates, and then fading back into oblivion. But if it works out this time, maybe we'll FINALLY get to hear the very LONG overdue CD, Chinese Democracy.

Van Halen? They are going on tour this year with David Lee Roth - but Ed fired Michael Anthony last year for being too chummy with Sammy Hagar...so Eds kid Wolfgang will be playing bass with VH.
