Aside from teaching? Ethnic studies is something that interests me very much, but I'd like to know what kind of jobs I can keep with it. Any help is appreciated!

A Master's in Ethnic studies prepares students for careers that require knowledge and expertise in the history, culture, and socioeconomic status of racial/ethnic groups in contemporary society, such as education, corrections, law, human services, social welfare, and urban planning.

Jobs in these areas can often be found at the local, county, state, and federal government levels. More and more corporations (as well as universities) are hiring people with backgrounds in ethnic studies as human resources and administrative personnel in offices of diversity enhancement, diversity recruitment, and diversity retention.

Anything you really want. Many jobs out there don't care what you got your diploma in - they care about the fact that you have the diploma only. I would suggest you check out the guidance/career office at the college you are currently attending (or maybe graduated from) for assistance. If that isn't a possibility many state institutions will avail their services to people who didn't attend their school as a service they can provide to their community.

Good Luck!!!

You can work in law enforcement or immigration. But your best best would be to get a Master's degree.
