your doctor should give you a perscription if you ask, also if not you can buy any kind you want just make sure they contain 400mg of folic acid .

Any over the counter pre-natal vitamins are fine....I used Natures Valley from Walmart

Your doctor should give you some sample of different pre-natals. But if your having morning sickness or have difficulties swallowing horse pills. (j/k) Flintstones are a good alternative.

Personally I could not tolerate the regular prenatals. They made me queasy.

The midwife at my OB's office told me to take 2 Flintstone's vitamins per day - the ones that say "Plus Iron".

I still take them today! :)

None, they contain too much iron and are not worth the extra price. Regular multivitamins for women are fine, check the folic acid level though.
