I think so because the moment they start putting people in different categories people start etting racist.....and you teach that to kids?

Yah. I agree this is racist because they are teaching the kids the differences and they'll remeber those for their life.

I thought you were talking about field day at first. Kids do not develop racist thoughts by celebrating the cultures of our wonderful Nation. They develop racist behavior from the ignorant adults they are subjected to daily.

Where do they do this?
I'm a retired teacher in the USA and I've never heard of this.
Is it a custom in some other country, or a new custom here in the USA?

There should not be a " Race Day " in any school any day ever , how about "Human Being Day" What kind of school is that I have never heard such a thing .
