pick off any large parts, then scrape down with a butter knife, gently, then take white paper towels under and over the stain and iron, keep changing the towels until you dont see any more wax mark. if you get it way down but still mark on it try oops or goof off on the remainder and wash hot., dont dry in machine till you are sure its out.

To get candle wax out of carpet you put an old towel over the wax an go over it with a hot iron. The iron heats the wax and it comes up on the towel. This may work on denim also.

If you are talking about candle wax, all you have to do is out some ice cube on the affected area for around fifteen minutes for solidfication and the rub out either with a knife or a sharp instrument . But don't apply too much pressure on it.
Or
Place a tissue paper on the affected area of your denim. On top of that place a glass of hot water on. Due to its temperature the candle will melt into a liquid that seeps into the tissue paper.

Place a spare towel/rag over the wax spot and then place a hot iron on top to pull the wax from the jeans into the towel.

Have You tried turning the material inside out and pouring boiling water over the wax? It worked for Me.

Place in freezer until wax freezes then peel off

Apply a few drops of kerosene on affected area, let stay for a couple of minutes then wash using soap and brush.

Hey try putting it in the freezer it should get hard and you may be able to pull it off..... Good luck
