My husband and I have been trying to concieve, and my period should be here on Feb. 5. This morning I started spotting... at least I think thats whats going on. I am just wondering if it is my period, which if it is, then it is definetely not a regular period, and it is a week early. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This could be implantation bleeding, irritation or the start of an early period.
Go ahead and test, though the longer you wanit the more accurate the test.

If it's just light spotting then it might be implantation bleeding. Take an over-the-counter pregnancy test or go see your doctor to be sure.
Are you on any medications or under any stress/pressure in your life? Sometimes these things will cause your period to start early and be irregular in nature.

Sounds like implantation bleeding to me. But I've only had it once in 5 pregnancies. I might try testing in a few days with a home test and see what's up!
