Depends on the size & types of screens involved.
CRT televisions are power hogs ... the bigger the bader.

Your PC uses far less power consumption that even a 20" CRT TV.

if u are talking about economic, my dad is an expert, and if u want a economic way to use both without wasting a cent paying bills make ur own, listen --he uses a battery to use the tv and the computer and to recharge that battery all he has to do is some work out with the bicycle, he made some kind of device that when he runs the bicycle the battery charges, it is awesome, my dad is genius, and that is not all he had done... P.s i think u should use the pc to listen to ur music, why? cuz with the pc u can download free music in certains sites, and it is whatever u want to hear and whenever u want to hear but the tv u will have to put cable and even like that wont be able to listen to the music u want, not all the time and the pc u can buy a device that gets u free internet- it is weireless, i have it, u c, the pc is more economic, make my answer the best plz
