Call your other job. Did you not leave a forwarding address with the post office when you moved? They are good for a year. You will get it. The company can do you a duplicate W-2 if you don't get the original one.

Good luck

No you're not.

If you're in the same city, or within a reasonably short distance, you can drop-by the place and provide them with the info.

If you're more than a conveniently close drive from, or unable to go down during "office hours" due to you current job, you can call / mail them.

I don't know about in the US, but Canadian employers have until the end of February(?) to get the T-4s to their (current/former) employees. Speaking from personal experience (I contract at a company for their HR department, and have "seen it all"...well, almost... lol ), the company will likely hold the income statement for several months. Oh...if you think you're going to be late filing, let Canada Revenue & Taxation / the IRS know as soon as you know it will happen. The penalties will still apply, but they won;t be anywhere near as snarky about it.

Contact your previous employer and ask them to mail you a copy of your W-2.
