spirit question.......................?

hey there, im wondering if there is some sort of connection here. when i was about 8 (im 14 now), my mother had a misscariage and lost a baby. so since then, i have always felt like we are missing someone like when we are getting in a car, i will say "hey arnt we forgetting someone?". and all of my brothers and sisters will be there (i have 3). or other things like siting down at the table or heading out to school. something like that that involves the family. i have been wondering why i do that. and then i remembered my moms misscarrige. do you think it could be the memory of the baby or any other form of spirit type thing. i just want to know. i do hear a lot of weird things at night mostly. im wondering if the baby is mad because it never got a chance to live or something, and now its making me miserable by crying softly in another room. or anything else it does. please help, or tell me if im just going crazy.

You have had a deep sense of attachment to the baby and was looking forward to having a brother or sister. When that did not happen you have had a jolt and the memory of what could have been is lingering. The soft crying that you are hearing is probably the 8 year old you. Nothing to worry. Find yourself a friend who will make you forget the past.

Well, from a Mormon point of view, I believe that spirits have progressed to adult stature before they come to earth and are born to mortal parents. I believe in the case of a miscarriage that the spirit who would have come could not really come at that time, but perhaps the timing will be better in the future. There is an article about miscarriage and supporting others who have gone through that in the January issue of the "Ensign" which is the Mormon monthly magazine for readers about age 18 and older (our magazine for teenagers is called "The New Era"). But since you obviously have some very real concerns I would think you would appreciate reading the older readers' magazine sometime. If you are hearing strange sounds at night, I would turn lights on and pray that they go away. If you are Christian, put up pictures of Jesus Christ. If it gets worse instead of better, there are other possible steps to take. Remember the spirit of God is not fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind.

That's a tough one. It is quite possible that either the spirit of the baby or an echo of it is still nearby. Don't think you are going crazy, at least not yet.
The best thing I can suggest is to try to make some kind of contact with whatever it is that is disturbing you. If it is what you think it is it is actually more likely the spirit is confused and unable to understand why it can't fully interact with others.
Other than that I can only suggest if things get worse to try seeking some help, spiritual that is. A good psychic might assist.

Hmmm that's very interesting. I'd have to agree with most of the comments before mine.
I've never heard of a case where an unborn infant lingers in the spiritual presence of it's living family members. I imagine that any conception becomes a living spirit whether it's survives or not because the physical is the body and that ends up dying regardless. A spirit never dies..... So I guess what you're saying is possible.

I can safely say that I have never heard of a misscarried baby following a family in spirit. I have however know people who have passed that have trasmitted a message to the family that the baby is with them. You sound like a very sensitive person, perhaps even psychically sensitive. But I wouldn't worry about it being the deceased fetus. You'll have to find meaning in what you're experiencing some other way. Did your mother or father have a child before they were married, perhaps given up for adoption?

Maybe your Mom will have a baby in the future and you are just prophecying about future events. If you are hearing noises and they are not human, I think they are demonic, sorry, I don't think ghosts or spirits are the dead, I have had enough dealings with demons to realize that the dead never come back and that demons can take any form they want, including a vapor, human and even invisibility. The baby your mom lost is happy in heaven right now, as far as I am concerned.

I do believe in spirits, but I don't believe that the baby is haunting you. It was never born. Also, It was a baby and still in spirit, and never made it to human form, so there would be no reason for the child to be angry. As far as you feeling that someone is missing, that is normal to feel. Maybe there is a spirit connected to you, but it isn't the spirit of an angry baby. That's my opinion. I have had a lot of experience with this.

Children are more innocent. They have not lived through the experiences that adults have in order that they rely mostly on intellectual thought. At 8 you were still young enought to sense the seen and the un seen, you sensed what you could not see. You grew accustomed to "its" presence. I am not going to say if it is an evil spirit or an angelic spirit. as I don't know. You will have to command the spirit in Jesus name to reveal itself. That will give you the origins of it. Either of good or evil.
Secondly I would read "a Divine Revelation of Heaven" by Mary K. Baxter so you will know that your sibling is alive and well taken care of. Not roaming around in the cold, cruel earth.

There is seriously no need to worry about anything. You feel a detachment because your sister tends to have a better sense/connection w/ you, than anyone else in your family. She just wants you to know she is there w/ you guys in spirit. Now, you're just freaking yourself out about her taunting you. If it would make you feel better, talk to her, and tell her to cross-over to the otherside. But thats only for the spirits that our lost or unfulfilled. Your sister knows exactly why God chose that experience/life for her.... who knows? Maybe in a past life she had bad karma to burn off or experience not having the chance at life...Everything in our life is for a reason, and for our soul to gain all life experiences to be complete..

hmm I haven't ever heard of your situation before. I don't think that the baby would be there doing those kinds of things. I think it has something more to do with you feel the lose more than the baby does. I'm sure the baby understands why and what happened so just try and become OK with it inside yourself and see where that gets you.
