The US paid Mexico for this land after the Mexican-American war, but would it right to give it back to them anyway? Not really asking IF it will happen, but whether or not it would be the morally right thing to do. If you say yes, what would happen to the Americans living there? Would they be forced to leave their homes in CA, AZ, TX, etc. or would they continue to live there under the authority of the Mexican government? Just a curious question.

You look to have each little thing abit backwards. first of all, Mexico in basic terms owned the Southwestern states for 25 years, in the past that they have got been owned by Spain and in the past that they have got been owned by interior sight human beings, and that doesn't advise those of Mayan or Aztec descent. Secondly, Why might we return somehting we've owned for over one hundred sixty years? the two California and Texas rebelled from Mexico and grew to alter into independant international locations then joined the U.S. something of them have been gained in a conflict against Mexico wherein the U. These states belong to the US. We should not give them back. If that is the case we should give back all lands we currently have.
