I am 21 years old with two daughters 2 1/2 and 4 months. My husband recently told me that he wanted me to dress sexier. At first I was excited...until I found out what he meant sexy to be. He means mini-skirts and semi see through shirts. I have never dressed 'girly' before and I think that he and I may be on different ends of the extremes. His being kind of slutty and mine being too conservative. I don't want to give my girls the wrong impression either that it's good to market your body to the other sex. I just don't know where to draw the line. I would like to look 'prettier', but I don't want to be a slut. Anyone have any suggestions of what is too much and/or what is acceptable?

Hello AW, I have a 10 year old daughter who I also have tried to set a good example for. Here is what we do. When were all together I try to dress in something my hubby would enjoy yet still is conservative enough that I don't feel I'm giving off the wrong impression to our Daughter. When were alone or we go out on a "date night" then I put on the sexy clothes that he enjoys seeing me in. He likes to see me in the mini skirts and stilettos. I have the confidence in myself to wear these when I am with him and also am not concerned with what anyone else may say or think.
Talk to your husband and tell him that you would like him to meet you half way on this. Also, if your going to be dressing sexy for him when the two of you are alone, he can do the same for you!

If he is your husband, he will understand that it will be out of the question most of the time. Maybe, time alone without the kids you can do it occasionally. Rest of the time maybe in the middle of both your perspective.
