If the contest has text voting then would the majority of those votes come from states with a larger number of people who watch CMT? If the finalists all come from southern or "cowboy" states then we may have reason to wonder.

wasn't it on CMT last year too because none of the regulars wanted to pick it up. most people get cmt if they have the basic cable(i know i did)
so i don't think the vote would be messed up.
i didn't watch the show myself because deal or no deal and heroes was on
