Yet...she cooks hams...eats chicken and all that...I'm a little confused as to why she lies...could someone tell me why she is putting on a vegetarian show for me...when she knows Im not a vegetarian?

next time you see her eating chicken or ham, ask her why she is eating it if she is vegetarian. some people don't eat red meat. maybe that's what she means.

Around here we have a lot of different types of vegetarians. For instance, at the camp where I work, we have what are called "camp vegetarians" which means they are vegetarians when camp serves food and we have to eat it. Maybe she has a reason...

A vegetarian is somebody who eats no meat, including chicken or fish. You can say you don't eat red meat, but if you're still eating white meat you can't call yourself a vegetarian.

my kid is a vegetarian and she doesn't eat any meat EVER, no fish, no chicken, no no nothing meat. Your friend thinks it sounds cool to be a vegatarian, that's all. Ignore it.

she's just lying to herself. a vegitarian does not eat any thing that came from a dead animal. maybe shes tryin to impress you. or since vegitarians are skinnier she is trying to seem skinny.
