medical mary j by the state like other health services. but the reason they won't legalize to the citizens is the gvt can't regulate the taxation because of the seed that is produced, people would grow their own and gvt loses tax revenue. it is more profitable to police it illegally than chase down tax revenue from growers.

Yes it should! This isn't because I'm anti-drug either. It's to ensure the safety of the patients who use it. If it is controlled through a pharmacy, the strength, dosage, and composition of the product (marijuana) can be closely controlled. Not only would this give the same results each time and make it easier for the patient, but it would keep patients from buying weed that is "laced" with other narcotics, etc. It can also keep them from getting ripped off when they're desperate for pain relief.

As voters, we don't have much say as to whether the multi-billion dollar per year marijuana business will exist. It rocks on with or without our endorsement.
What we do have a say on is whether production and commercial distribution will be legal and therefore able to be regulated by various levels of government and private business or whether it will be illegal and thus have 100% of production and commercial distribution be on the street without any possible regulation.

Laced Marijuana are you kidding! That is not a reason. Marijuana for medicinal reasons should have one federal uniform law. The patients should have the right to purchase from pharmacies or to grow their own. As for as laced marijuana goes these dealers are not going to lace marijuana with cocaine or pcp, without charging for the drug it is laced with, nothing is for free in the drug world except the 1st hit.

Neither. MJ is not a medicine. There is nothing that it can do that some legal drug can't do better. The whole "medical marijuana" crap is just an attempt to legalize MJ under the pretext that it can be good for you.

It should be controlled and manufactured(grown) to FDA standards and regulated properly. It can help people just like cocaine and opioids do which all have medical uses.
