My friend recently called off her engagement in august, her and her ex fiance are still living together just in different rooms, since august she has met someone in that time and has been enjoyying his company since then, however her ex kind of thinks that they are on a break and he is interested and is fully pursuing a job where she and this new guy both work. Everyone at this job knows that she is with this new guy. She loves her ex dearly and whats to be at least be friends. How should she tell him of this new guy so she doesn't hurt him anymore or should she even worry about and just let him find out on his own when he gets the job?

do not let him find out through a third person if you want to remain friends. you need to be honest and tell him sooner rather than later. tell him that this is a serious relationship and you want to remain friends with him, but that you are moving on. Good luck.

She should tell him. He'll still know it anyway, better it be not from someone else's mouth,, especially from the "concerned citizens" heheheh.
