Are you a parent of a young child/ren who is taking college courses? If so, is it working out well for you? What are some of the difficulties/conflicts? Do you go during the day or night? I would love to go back to college before I am thirty and finish my degree.

I am 28 years old and a mother of a five year old girl. I had a few credits before she was born, but when she was six months old, I really went back to school. In three months I am going to graduate from a university. I will have my BSN in nursing. It was the best investment in my future, but I have not slept well or gone out to play for a long time. I am a busy lady.
Good Luck!

Well, not exactally answering your question, but my mom is taking college courses at the same college as me (i am a senior in high school but taking college classes). For me most of the time it is no big deal... Only one of the kids I know has actually been mean about it (he said, "guess what, im in a class with your mom!"). My mom takes classes both during the day and at night because of the limited class offereings, so you just need to take the class whenever its offered, but if she has a choice she takes the day class so she can be home with us. We had one class together last year, and it was not a big deal. When I couldnt go to class, I ust got the notes from her, and we helped eachother on the essays.

I can tell you this as someone who was on Active Duty in the Military, had an infant in a carrier and was pregnant with my 2nd while I was going through a Grad Degree Program (which I definitely Completed and had a very High GPA in) ...

You need to be really organized and committed to the course of study .. and that means that you need to let your children know that they need to be quiet at certain times of the day, go to bed on time, and yes, let you go to the library or class or whatever to get your work done.

IF your spouse can help (if they are still in the picture that is), then that is a bonus. Look to get 'helpers' to watch your children as you are working on your big projects/tests. And yes, DO start your homework right away ... same with projects. With children, you can NOT afford to procrastinate at all.
