Wait a sec first you have to let people know certain factors as your height and weight NOW!!! A lot of teens have unrealstic thoughts about their weight and this can be very dangerous and might even lead to anorexia!! See your doc before starting any diet plan is still great advice!!

Start off slow.. don't just cut your diet and expect yourself to exersise.
Begin by eliminating starches and carbs from your diet like pasta and breads. So for like 2-3 weeks only eat veg. and meat. Doing just that alone will help you shead a few lbs. In addition, cut out snacks- chips and sodas. Eat yogurt instead.
Once you get into the swing of things, add walking - even just once around your block everyday at a heel-toe pace should burn off some calories.
Then just begin to monitor your calorie intake - if you eat less than 2500 calories per day you could lose about 3-5 lbs a week.
Here's another hint... walking 1 mile everyday for a year- you will def. lose 10 lbs.
Good luck!

First off all, that is impossible. I mean to do it quickly. And I'm pretty sure that you don't need to lose 60 lbs. You're only 15.....
But if you want to lose some weight (healthily, let's not be the next Mary-Kate Olsen or Nicole Richie) , simply monitor what you eat and burn off more calories than you consume. You burn calories naturally through everything you do, so add a workout regimine and strive to eat 1,500 to 1,600 calories daily. (You can eat dessert, it's actually good for you, if not eaten to much of).
If you have anymore questions then consult a Seventeen or Cosmogirl. Or I even recommend a Fitness magazine (they have
great workouts that are really fun to do) Good Luck. Keep me in touch on your progress (I want to lose some weight too.)

You need to exercise, and use portion control. The problem now, is that many people go back for seconds and thirds of meals. If you eat a proportional, healthy diet, you will shed the lbs very quickly. If that doesn't work, you may want to try weight Watchers.

first you have to get over the idea of losing it "quickly". That's really bad for you and likely won't last anyway.
Weight Watcher's is great. You'll learn what's a reasonable portion and get lots of support and encouragement. I still eat everything, just not so much and not all the time.
Start exercising. Doesn't have to be a radical....walking is great. If you have a dog take him along, he'll love it.
On the good side, at your age it'll be much easier for you to lose weight than it is for me. Good luck!!
