Try acting it out in clown costumes! That should be fun!

Good Luck! Let me know how it goes!

Considering this is about a murder mystery it's going to be hard to make it fun. You need to chill your audience. Review how you're approaching the story. Here's a website which might give you some more insight to the case. If you are in school have a drama teacher, or English teacher look over your script. If not if you know a drama , or English teacher who would do that you can get their input. I haven't seen the film, or read the book, but 48 hr mysteries on CBS did a program on it. See if you can find a tape of the show. Good luck.

first read the minds of your viewers.

second, think about these questions, then you will get a clear idea.
your viewer? and their tastes?
what is the time of performance? how much the viewers concentrate on your performance at that time?
what is the theme of your performance?

more over your performance duration is shorter. this is a great advantage to you. with little care, you can do better.
