The college major does not matter as long as the mathematics and science requirements are completed. However, you need to work closely with the college advisor. I have included several premedical programs as reference on the science courses.
* A foreign language comes in handy such as Spanish.
* Physics
* Biology
* Organic and inorganic Chemistry
* Psychology
* Human development if selecting with family, pediatric, or internal practice.
* Human anatomy

Biology, probably through at least Molecular bio I and II, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, math through calc. and some english helps. Schools are looking for people who are not only smart, but can communicate well with their patients and English helps with that.
