It depends in the quality and provider of your cell phone. I have a motorola and a fully-charged batter usually lasts 4 days (with it on all night)
If your phone won't last a day, I suggest going back to the retailer and having the phone checked out, the battery may not be up to par.

It depends on the model of phone and the amount you use it to talk, take pics etc. For ex: I have the KRZR - without use I get more than 4 days of standby time, with periodic use about 3 days, but if I talk for an hour straight, take pics and check my email, my battery will go down to 1 bar in a day. I would go to the customer service counter of your provider and talk to them about it. There may be a defect in it.

I use a Razor and get about 2 days out of it, and have had it for 9mo. now. As a way of sugestion do not leave the phone pluged in so long, let the batt. get to a low status b 4 recharging it, and then unplug it after it says full charge. Also turning it off every few days will enable it to do the updates it may need( most cariers do updates to your phone) Also ry not to have to use your car to recharge the phone

It depends on the phone and make and model. There is standby time which means it is on and you not using it and then there is talk time when you are one the phone. For example your phone could last just being on for three days but it you talk on it it could go only four to six hours.

Depends on phone model, battery, and cellular technology (GSM phones(cingular for example) use less power than CDMA phones(sprint, verizon for example), thus usually longer battery life

actually it depends on manufacture type......and while charging one should not charge in excess and while discharging(using) one should not do it excessively both harms the life of battery

it depends on many different types of phones. cheap phones will last long because they are cheap and they don't use as much energy as an expensive phone. expensive phones don't have as good of a battery life like cheap ones because expensive phones use more energy because it has more technology.
...sooo....it depends on what kind of phone you have.
