Where is it at? Sometimes spruce top guitars will crack on the soundboard (face of the guitar) if the humidity is too low in a room. Then you should probably take it into a shop where they can fill the crack with glue and wood shavings and refinish the varnish with matching finish (authorized repair centers for the manufacturer), but it may crack again.

I have a 2500 dollar Martin that has that problem.

acoustic???? depends where the crack is.... neck...see a pro; top, tolerable as long as action (neck) is not effected.... bottom, same as top... sides... same again. Stresses on a guitar are important on the structural integrity of the instrument. Ask a good shop for an opinion first.

Depends on if you want the cheap way or the right way. It also depends on if it is an electric or an acoustic. If it is an electric you could get away with using liquid nails to patch it up. With an acoustic though I would only trust a luthier with such a task.

well it depends on the guitar. in an acoustic you dont. and if its electric and its broken all the way through like a piece is broke off you would have to drill into it and use dowels to connect it back together good luck

i wouldnt try and do it yourself if youve never had experience doing something like that before. i would recommend taking it to the shop where you bought it or just a shop and ask them if they can fix it and how much it might cost.

I would imagine a small one can be sealed with lacquer or something.
