I use a Magic Eraser on soap scum. Comes right up. Get the extra strength ones. The original are too flimsy & fall apart. Both work on soap scum though.

They're amazing. You don't need any additional cleaners and you can actually feel when the soap scum is gone. The eraser kinda 'pulls' against the soap scum and it moves freely when the area is clean.

I spray the tub with Scrubbing Bubbles in the morning and wipe it down at night, works great everytime. If you don't like using chemicals than the Magic Eraser is the way to go!

I love my magic eraser. When I moved in to my new house, and found a nasty tub, I used Kaboom. No matter how annoying the commercials are the stuff really works. Hope this helps you out.
