I'm looking for a better way to remove eye makeup (aka eyeshadow + concealer). Usually I just wipe my face off with warm water and a washcloth, but all that does is smear it around and just ends up making more work at the end of a long day. Does anyone have a better solution?

The three best and easiest ways to remove eye makeup:

1. Dab some baby oil on cotton and use it to wipe around eyes and even face to remove all makeup

2. (Especially for harder stuff like eyeliner foundation) Dab cream/ lotion (the one you use for your body is fine) on cotton or klinex and gently scrub around eyes or on your face

3. Buy the medicated eye makeup removal pads

I suggessted to try all three options and see what works best on your skin
Also if your eyes are really sensitive be careful with all three, theres always that chance of the solution going in your eye... incase it does wash it with really cold water.

For the past 25 years I have used a little baby oil on a cotton ball to remove my eye makeup. It works great. It doesn't burn or harm your eyes like alot of eye makeup removers. Afterwords I use a tissue and lightly wipe off the excess oil then wash my face as I normally would.

ok, you don't have to go out and spend all your money on make-up remover, what I do, is like you rub my face with warm water and a wash clothe and your right it does smear it around, but if you put soap on the clothe, the soap will work WONDERS! Like on your eyes, and then your face, so if you own soap (which I hope you do) then just use that to get it off, it works alot better then the name brand "make-up removers" and it's alot cheaper, make sure you get face soap, instead of like normal Ivory or Dial soap.Hope I helped!

Try a warm washcloth with soap, or a washcloth/cotton ball with vaseline or cold cream on it. Works magnificently. You could also try makeup remover. I know origins makes an excellent version.. try that.

I just love the Mary Kay Oil-free eye make-up remover. You just shake it up a put it on a tissue or cotton ball and wipe away. Any residue that's left can be wiped away easily with the tissue, too.

However there is many other facial cleanses that work quite well. There are hundreds of different products out there. Just use baby oil with a cotton pad, this will avoid smears. Then wash off the oil residue.

Just buy a makeup remover cream it works great! It doesn't sting, just rub it around your eye and it comes right off! No scrubbing and redness!
