and the other problems in the area, but I'm also aware of the new government, Paul Kagame and the gorillas. What do you think about leaving the U.S. for Rwanda? I don't want to give up citizenship. I just want to live somewhere different for awhile.

I want to go over there too! I'm not sure that I want to live over there only that I want to go for awhile and do something to help make their lives better. I'll assume that you want to go for the same reason. Paul Kagame is an awesome gentleman who has worked hard to turn the country around. Did you know that his wife graduated from one of the new University's not too long ago? She is a beautiful woman. Did you know that Kagame is a Catholic--he says he's not devout, but still Catholic. I'm Methodist myself. Would you go to the famous hotel and try to meet the man who saved the people inside the hotel? Would you visit any of the memorials? Do you know the language? I have a Kiyarwandan tattoo on my right ankle.

If you go have fun, be careful and learn.

I understand your wanting to live somewhere different, but as you pointed out, there are problems in the area right now. I would suggest looking into going to a safer country. However, if you have your heart set on moving there, I'm sure that there are charity groups that are in need of volunteers. They can help you get there, as well as help you get settled in and give you an opportunity to make a difference while you're living there.

It's really sad that you are choosing to move to an area, that people are dying to actually leave. What is the reason that you would want to move to a place of death and diseases? Do you want to embrace some long lost heritage? There is plenty of places to move, you don't need to go to Africa. Think about all the freedoms and things that Americans embrace before you give it all up. WHy don't you just go on a vacation and releive some stress.

I think it is a very bad idea. If you want to live somewhere different, go to Europe or Asia.

Rwanda will not be the experience that you think...
