I do. Constantly- Michael Moore movies are shown - Lib speakers on campus- and I know if I hung a pro war type poster- I would be risking my job, lacking tenure.

There has definately been challenges for conservative speakers at universities. The list includes John Mccain, Rudy guiliani, Mit Romney, and the huge bruhaha over the minute men. There are classes teaching 9-11 conspiracy theory, and Liberal Studies. Then there is the abolishment of ROTC or other military programs from many campuses. The most shocking are the teachers themselves though. Traditionally educators/academia tend to be more liberal. That being said it only takes a few Jay Bennishes or ward Churchills to show a slant toward the left. There are often articles about schools adopting strange and generally left sided curriculum. It happens on the right as well, but generally only at religios schools where the pupils are expecting the reading.

Well this is something that has been championed by David Horowitz among others.

Here are a few links
This one is for K-12

higher learning

And Horowitz's list of The 101 Most Dangerous Academics in America
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Professors:_The_101_Most_Dangerous_Academics_in_America

And another site whos author emailed each professor on Horowitz's list to get their response to being on the list

Oddly most of the professors never responded or responded by saying they declined to comment. A few did though.

Of course not!
That's what the Repubs want to claim and then use it as an excuse...just like the so called "librul media".
There's no such deal. It's just the opposite in fact.

Oh, sure you or anyone can find a person or 2 that may have liberal leanings, but to claim the whole institution of higher leaning is leaning one way or the other is stupid.

But the fact does show, the higher one's IQ, the more liberal leaning they are. Simple proof of that is look at where all the so-called "red" states are and then consider the ratings of those state's school systems in the US. Then look at the "blue" states and compare where their schools stand in the rankings. Clear cut.

As far as the media being liberal....that claim has been debunked years ago. Sad the talking heads of the Right still parrot those claims....but then again, look at who's taking them at their word.....total and complete sheep. (dittoheads)
