It's pretty good for a laptop. You should be able to play quite a few of the most recent games just fine, though you will have to turn some of the detail down in the latest games.

Realize that it is tough for laptops to have the top-of-the-line video cards, since they are integrated on the motherboard to save space. Also, laptops tend to become outdated a bit faster than desktops, because there's not much you can upgrade.

If you want to game it's better to NOT use integrated Graphics. Since you're getting a laptop. You might want to upgrade the graphics to at least 7400 Go for NVIDIA or X1400 for ATI. I'm guessing you're gonna get new games down the road. You're probably getting a smaller notebook about 15 inch. Not so much can fit in there. Of course it depends how much you're willing to spend, but the choices I gave you are pretty good if you're on a budget and don't want to buy a huge notebook.

They are O.K. but if you want Vista, consider 2048MB memory (2 gigs ram)
These specs aren't really for "Hardcore" gaming. Also, consider buying a better graphics card. If you aren't too much worried about graphics, and you just want to play games period, then it should be fine. Your FPS may jump around a little bit though...
