Whilst many women comment that they would only choose someone equal to or taller than. Yet many Jockeys have absolute glamour partners. Any reason apart from money?

I don't personally care about how tall a man is. I have dated many of them that were shorter than me and this has never been an issue. I am 6' and I look for a man with a great personality that treats all with respect/

From my personal experience, most women I know and have talked to cannot stand short men at all. They see them as weak and useless and doesn't give them a "sense of security". However most women I have seen with short men either beat up a bigger dude or has a large wad of cash on him.
Luckily there are some women who look past the height issue and go for the man's personality and find him cute at the same time. But this is rarely the case.

Nope, pretty much it's all about the money. And the attention a girl would get being on the arm of a "famous" (whatever that entails) jockey.

If a girl doesn't like you because your short, she's not right for you. I'm short myself, and when I got the news that I was gonna be 5'3 for the remainder for my life, I was devastated and if ppl (girls) would like me less or more because of my height. After a while, I realized that height doesn't matter and you can't change it even if you wanted to. And to be honest, most people don't notice it, but if a girl doesn't like you because your short, she's just dumb.

Most of the time shorter people are stronger ( less distance for them to move some weight )
Thus insecure ..Girls.. will go for them.
However it is sort of understood that taller men seem to be good with leadership positions ( as they can "see farther" into the future..)

i dont agree at all i have been out with a couple of short guys and the both had short mans syndrome and were complete wankers

I don't think they're as intimidating, they're easy to talk to and I think it's true, they do try harder at things and the reason for that is because most people don't take them seriously. Which I think is wrong! =)

Why worry about things YOU CAN NOT CHANGE? Unlike weight problems, there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO about your height other than eating healthy.
It is absolutely waste of time to worry about it. I don't, and I'm far below average.
