Well if you are the average citizen you can stop being a criminal, or smoking dope, or driving reckless and causing wrecks.
Once the average citizen no longer commits any crime, we can do away with Police for the most part. Then you can stay in your parent's basement playing your XBOX and not even worry about the cops coming over for your liitle 420 relaxation you fire up as long as Mom and Dad are gone.

I would say this. At four oclock in the morning if someone is breaking into my house and I call 911. Who is going to come and risk their life for the welfare of my family. The police. I would argue that most policemen are underpaid in this country. Police spouses don't know if their spouse is even going to come home after their shift. Tell me what other profession makes you risk your life just by putting on a uniform. No they are not overpaid at all.

Too much money is wasted on them? Tell that to a cop next time you need one! What are you a drug runner or some other inbred criminal? Our police forces are WAY underpaid. Two of my friends are retired cops (Sgt/Capt). Oh, I'd love to say more to you, but you'd go whining to YAHOO and I get tired of defending myself against yahoos like you.
