next year will be my last year at college (despite already having 133 units..grr). I've never had an advisor or anyone to tell me how things are done,
does anyone know what you have to do to graduate other than just taking required courses?

Find and ask for a counselor. You can use the attached link to get a general idea.

Otherwise, tell us what school you go to. That would help narrow it down (altho most Cal States have the same general requirements).

talk to the registrar's office... or go to the main office of your major and they usually have a sheet of the required classes you have to take, so make sure those are complete, and you should talk to your advisor to find out what you need to do, or talk to the dean of your school.
