Banana peels and a staple gun. Seriously.
I was delivering lumber, and gashed the palm of my hand. The only thing they could come up with was the above items. It staunched the bleeding, and I wound up getting twelve stitches.

This is a true story. I was 15 years old and my girlfriend and I were in the woods "fooling aorund". Well I scraped my arm up against this rock and it started gushing blood. She pulled out a pad and I had to walk home with a bloody pad on my arm (no pun intended). My mother looked at me like I had 3 heads when we walked through that door.

That is too cute, at least you could mail him someplace for all of 78 cents.
I used a tissue and scotch tape. Worked great.

Very creative there. I once made a bandage out of a coffee filter and masking tape.

I ALWAYS keep Super-Glue on hand. Especially in the winter. That's how I keep my fingers, and toes from spliting, and cracking. Besides once you get the first GOOD gush of blood, the wound is clean, then you cover it with the glue, and you are good to go...
