where do you fall on the issue of campaign reform?
it it necessary to stpo corporations and special interest groups form appearing to buy politicians? Or does it violate freedom of speech by restricting a person's ability to show support for a candidate through campaign contributions?

I think that special intrest groups and big business should be banned because its taking away from the focus of whats right for the people. If they only relied on contributions from private citizens, then politicians will be forced to travel to more places during their campaign and see what really matters to the people.

Lets make it a law where all contributions over $25.00 should be seen as bribes and the briber thrown in jail. This is per institution. General motors could donate $25.00 to the NRC. The AFL-CIO could donate $25.00 to the DNC. If you work for GM or are a member of the AFL-CIO you couldn't donate because they had already capped the donation for you. Actors and performers could donate $25.00 but not their talents. Think of all the annoying television adds we wouldn't have to watch and with such a limited budget they would have to stick to the issues. Also any News Paper or News Network that endorses a candidate would be put out of business. They can report the news and keep their opinions to themselves.
