I don't have an answer ... Only you can decide for yourself .... Here are some questions that may provide you with additional info to make the best decision for you..
The girl (daughter) is grown and on her own? Does a child have the right to dictate the behavior and decisions of a parent?
Is the parent answerable to the child?
Would the parent be a living example of coming to the support of others? Could that message also be a security to the daughter ... knowing that if she messed up she will have no fear of rejection or judgment if she needs to rely on the parent?
Would the temporary co-habitation be bodily or emotionally harmful?
Could the temporary co-habitation be beneficial to both parties.
Prevent future regrets. ... What would the self imposed guilt do if something harmful came to the ex ... knowing that if the ex were taken in that no harm would happen (that's clear as mud) lol
I wish you the best.

No. My ex-wife can't stay by my home. Sex is not an issue here. I take care of the needs of the household. If she wants to sleep outside in the car with 0 temps, she can. That's OK by me. I don't care. Just as long as it's not next to my home.

You want your cake and eat it to. Yes, let your ex wife stay at your house and help her find another place to stay. Instead of doing the cleaning and things like that she shouls be looking for a place to stay. If you let her stay at your house make sure it is not in your bed. NO SEX. You are just being a good friend making
sure she has a place to SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would let her sleep outside in the cold but I would first go in and get a pitcher of water and throw it on her before I turned the lights out on the porch. If I was in a good mood at the time I might tell her good night sweet dreams.

Maybe because you're willing to cheat on "your girl" with your ex, is why she isn't well accepted.
It would be nice to give her a place to stay, but not if it's going to hurt your current relationship. Think it through.

Sounds like you and your x apparantly have more in common than you and your girl do. Perhaps you should consider telling your girl it's not working out between you......and go back to your x's house.

"My" ex, can sleep in the garage in her car and I am even willing to take her a portable heater, but I do not want that trying to cuddle up with me at night. Damn, now I know I am going to have night terrors. See what you did..!!!!Gotta put my K-9 in attack mode all night,,!!!
