Cannibal Corpse 'The Bleeding' and 'The Wretched Spawn' have song structures more similar to those of more traditional heavy metal and are crushing and incredible albums. Deicide, I would recommend the live alum, really heavy and great songs. Suffocation, but then you're getting into more 'technically-structured' metal, which can take some getting used to, but which is well worth the adjustment. Slayer's older albums were awesome.
