There are real psychics. I know a few. Psychics have to pay rent and eat too that is why they charge, That is in answer to some one who think they should work free. Check out ebay. Check their feedback to see if they have positive feedbacks. Some of the newer readers do a good job because they are trying to get a start. If you have lots money check out California Pyschics and blackhawk is a reader there. He is good. Never spend any more that you can afford.

The only realistic thing that a "psychic" could be is a person who is extremely good at judging character based on facial expressions, tone of voice, etc. and making up realistically possible/probable events. It's not possible for someone to be a psychic. magic doesn't exist, and we don't emit thought-related brain waves, so sorry, but if you really want to know your future, get used to waiting around for it. Either way, if you found out what your future would be like, it would change because you know about it (or if you like to think that what it will change into is the future predicted, then it really depends on the person who gives the prophecy to you and how much you want to believe it). For example, if a "psychic" tells you that you will lost your job, if you believe it, you might figure that it's not worth your time to work hard for the job if you're going to lose it anyway, hence, you lose your job due to your lack of performance. If you believe that you can change this, however, you might end up losing the job because you overwork and its hurting your life or the work you do isn't good enough, or your boss might not like you and just wants to get rid of you, or the company is losing money and they need to lay off some of their workers, or your performance in general is below standards. If they tell you that you will get sick, you might worry, and worrying (stress/anxiety) releases chemicals in your body that lower your immune system, so you actually will get sick, etc.
Either way, you shouldn't need to find a way to get in touch with them, because if they're psychic then they should know that you want to speak with them (If they can't see clearly enough into the future to know this, then obviously they aren't worth your time, right?)

Unfortunately I don't know of any real ones, at least not that I can name with certainty, however I may be able to point you in the right direction. If you wish to avoid charlatans etc try contacting the Theosophical Society and asking for recommendations. I would think they would have contacts for a good number of reputable and respected psychics, that despite what some may say actually do possess a gift to 'know'.

May I make a suggestion?
Before you pay a psychic money, take three playing cards in a non-see through envelope. Ask the psychic to correctly name all three cards. Do not let the psychic or anyone else handle the cards or the deck they came from.
If they can't see three measley cards with their powers, don't pay them money for advice about your life.

Real psychic, healers, spiritualists ect should never charge! It is a gift from spirit anyone who askes money in return I walk away from. You also have the power to find it in yourself. Believe.
