i suggest MAC as well... but go with light colors... brownish and pinks will do... go easy when you use it... put the eyeliner on gently... and a bit of mascara.. you dont want to over do it either... best wishes!

- First apply some pressed powder, you said you aren't big on powder, so if you don't want to wear it, skip this part.
Put the powder on your entire face making sure to blend well by the hairline, neck line and ears. Pay special attention to the area around the nose, which is normally a little red, and it will stand out a bit more unless you cover it nicely.

- Blush. Whipped blush such as Maybelline Dream Mousee blush applied in the apples of cheeks, make sure to blend well, and don't use anything too dark. If you have light skin, go for a pinker type color. If you have medium/olive skin use peach colors, and if you have dark skin use a darker pink or light brown.

-Eyeshadow. First, apply a light color across entire lid. Next, apply a medium shade from right above the crease to the lash line. Then, a darker color on the crease. If you have blue eyes, focus on using browns, if you have green eyes, use purples, if you have hazel, use pinks. And if you have Brown eyes, try using darker purples.

-Eyeliner. If you want a more dramatic look, use a liquid eyeliner on top lid. Starting from the middle of the last line, outward. Since you want a more natural look, you may want to skip the liquid liner and use a pencil instead. Use a thin line of pencil on the bottem and top lid. If you want a more natural look, use greys or browns depending on your skin tone. If you want a dramatic look, use black.

-Mascara. If you have light skin, use a brown, if you have darker skin use black. If you want length, buy a legthening mascara, and if you want volume, buy a volumizing mascara. If you are looking for a mascara to simply add color to lashes and nothing else, use 'great lash' by maybelline. One of the best mascaras I have ever tried.

- Eyelash curling. I do not curl my lashes, but if you feel like your lashes need a bit more of a curl, you can use a curler. You can find them for around $5.00.

- Lipliner. Using lip liner is a good way to allow lip gloss to stick to your lip. I would use a color similar to your own, or a little darker if you want a more dramatic lip. Fill in your lips with the lip liner.

-Lip gloss. Finish the look with a little bit of clear gloss.

If you want a more natural look, I would use blush, eyeshadow, mascara, and lip gloss.

Hope I helped.

HI!

I would definately suggest Mac makeup. They have a wide variety of selections in all different types of makeup. If you are just starting to wear makeup I would go with a mascara and light eyeshadow. If you don't want foundation to be visible but to cover up blemishes then they can help you find the right shade for your skin at Mac.

GOOD LUCK!!!

k you want to gently touch up with some cream that has your skin tone on it to cover your imperfections, that way its easy to take off and it looks natural. also apply blush very gently with a soft brush. you want to follow you eyes try to find a slightly natural but matching colour to your clothes. darker round the lashes and lighter going up to the eyelid. i dont like to use eyeliner because it is very strong. also try not to put very much stuff under your eyes. maybe just some cream cause it can looke very strong when its made out of the eyeshadow. try to use a lighter or darker lipstick or gloss depending on what your going to wear. try to gently pluck your eyebrows so that they look natural but not too thin. also when your done wipe off with a moistureizing cream to help your skin while you take it off.

wear some nice gloss on your lips.
a little blush to accentuate and define your cheekbones
and a bit of brown or black mascara on your top lashes.
