I don't think they will be the next majority because in many areas they are the minority. Even with proportional representation they have a problem in the Labour heartlands.
It might be interesting if they get power just so that a referendum is held and the question of what the people of Scotland truly want can have a definitive answer rather than replying on opinion polls that all conflict with each other.
I have a suspicion that if they did have their referendum, they'd lose. It's a big step to ask the people of a country to take.
I think they'd have to have 70%+ in opinion polls wanting independence for 50%+ to vote for it in an official vote when it's more than just an ideal and has serious implications for their life

You may want the UK to stay united, however as long as we in England are dictated to by a Scottish lead Labour party that dictates to England over the heads of English MP's then I support full independence, which would rid us of the Brown character and maybe give us back our country.

I hope so, I think the scottish and English would do better by themselves but still trading. People just argue about eachother and it isn't fair that england can't vote in the scottish parliment when they can decide on our laws.

We need England . We need all that lovely subsidy money to keep us going.
It will be a black day for Scotland if England ever pulls the plug on us.
The Scots are totally incapable of governing themselves. If proof be needed, just take a look at that parliament building. What an embarrassment.
