I like empirical evidence, I think we should all run right out and buy a bag to test this theory!
Darn, I live on the Amazon where there seems to be quite a shortage of smarties, could somebody send me a bag of them? I LOVE smarties.

Sometimes it makes you feel good to think so!
I remember in third grade on our teacher's birthday, our teacher's aide brought in Smarties for the entire class and Dum-Dums for the teacher. Even if they don't make you smarter, it still makes for a good story to tell many years later.
