You'll be watching a game and one of the guys will just rattle off something about the guy that made the last play was "third in the nation in third-down conversions back in '98 in his senior year playing for the Texas Tech Red Raiders under coach Billy Hackenschmidt" or something even weirder. Do they have a bunch of guys feeding them data through an earpiece, or does anyone actually have that kind of memory?

They have stat people working for them that send them all these ridiculous stats.

for heavens sake...some idiot has sat at a computer for hours to get info for sportscasters...you grow up in hole in the ground ???
