Do not drink a lot of water especially the day before. When people try to make weight for a weigh-in, they try to cut weight by losing water weight. Wrestlers usually spit into a cup to lose spit and water weight, and an extreme case of trying to lose water weight is running with multiple sweatshirts or trashbags on to sweat more (this isn't too healthy, but they do it anyway). Some go in a sauna, etc. I would suggest spreading out your meals (probably 3 per day) into 5 smaller meals. This kick-starts your metabolism where the food you eat will get used for energy and won't get stored as fat.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

5 pounds in 7 days--that easy. Just drink lots of water and when you eat (only 3 times a day) eat only one thing besides a fruit or lettuce salad. No sugar, flour, or drinks other than water. The week will go by fast and the water will keep you full plus clean your system. I do this a couple times a year--and lose 10-12 pounds in 7 days.

this is my one day plan, not for the whole week
i used to wrestle and would have to drop 5-7 pounds sometimes in one day. the easiest way is to drink as little amount of fluids as possible during the 24 hours prior to the wigh in. only eat something like an apple or orange(something that liquid to it, liquid weight like that for foods is easiet to get rid of). u actually loose weight in your sleep. pee as much as possible. continue to wiegh yourself throughout the day to see where u stand.
other than the extreme weight cut i just mentioned, u have a week to lose the weight, so u should just try not to eat as much and stay away from pop during that week and then see where u r a day before weigh in.

You have to lose weight to play football, now that is something I have never heard before. Try to not eat fatty foods and sweets. Eat less than normal and don't drink Coke or sweet tea, stick to water and a little Gatorade.

same as him but also go to somewhere where you can swim indoors... swim for an hour and a 1/2 - 2 hours till Feb. 5th.... i found amazing results- 10 pounds in 1 WEEK!

Eat only 500 calories per day. Spread them out through out the day. However, don't do this for more than, say, a week at a time.

get a stomach bug....that makes ur stomach reject all food...its horrible feeling....u can't eat for like 2-3 days until u find out what it is and go to the doctor......i know its bad but no food and water to go into ur stomach will lose that 5 lbs for u in 2 days.....i mean just the headache, dizzyness, and puking might be a little bad... :) jk...i had that like 3 months ago and i lost like 7 in two days without eating. then by the 3rd day and u aren't like passed out yet go to the doctor to get a shot and it'll clear up in like 4 hours....

run a lot with a lot of clothes on to make sure you sweat a lot, also do not eat anything, but thats not very healthy
