they wont ask...they will just notify you by mail and tell you when they are deducting the money from your account.

Oh yes they won't ask, when they find the mistake, they'll most likely just remove it. Go to the bank and tell them what has happened. I assure you that the person missing the money will have a fit until it's found. Change shoes! What if your money went into someone elses account? I had a $1,000/-- one time and I went and told the bank and it not only makes you a honest person but you'll have a little more pride knowing you have done the right thing. Your money might get misdeposited one day, so be kind.

This happened to me recently and when the bank found the error, they took the money out of my account. Just leave the money in there and pretend it doesn't exist, or else you will have to give it back.

It's not your money. And yes, they will eventually figure it out and will take it back. If you already withdrew it, they'll be coming after you for it.
In many jurisdictions, withdrawing money improperly deposited to your account is treated as theft if you do not immediately return it.

When they find the error they take the money back and send you a letter stating that it was wrongly deposited and that they withdrew it. You get no say.

It will be eventually be reversed, banks do a lot of internal audits, they will catch it.
Easy come, easy go.
Don't remove it from your account and try to hide it, they'll get the law involved and come after you.

Yes, you will have to pay it back. It's a two way street and you should know you're not entitled to the money.

ignore it, then if they contact you and ask for the money back, give it to them, if they want to get the police involved, tell them that you have asked them about it
