My baby's head has dropped but I am not dialated. I'm 36 weeks and would like to know how much longer I might have.. If anyone could give a shortest to longest time period.

It might very well still be another few weeks. It is normal that the baby drops a few weeks before labor actually starts. Now it gets uncomfortable :)

It's really not and indicator, unfortunately. My daughter dropped eight weeks before her due date, and I still had to be induced when the date came and went. Just be happy you only have four weeks. It a very exciting time now, so just savor the experience of finally getting to meet the baby!

Dropping just means that the baby is now lower in your uterus, and closer to birth. But the baby can drop weeks before you even go into labor.

no, one can really tell you when hun because I am 35 weeks and my babies head was dropped last week although I have until March. When the baby is ready it will come! It will be here sooner than you think! CONGRATS!

My daughter's head dropped, and I still did not have any signs that she was coming. She wasn't ready, they had to induce me. Just ask your doctor.
